AmeriCorps Youth Services


CareerSource Tampa Bay and CareerSource Pinellas, the regional workforce boards for Hillsborough and Pinellas Counties, are seeking AmeriCorps members to serve at-risk youth or young adults under the age of 24 for the Youth Services program. Members will assist youth by providing career exploration and guidance, mentoring and tutoring, employer engagement activities, and follow-up services after a youth is placed in employment or enrolled in an educational program.

While working as a full-time AmeriCorps member, you can:

  • Quarter time members can earn up to $1,850.00 for a living allowance which breaks down to $185.00 biweekly.
  • The educational award for Quarter time members is $1,538.00
  • Quarter time members are required to serve a minimum of 450 hours from now until July 31st, 2018.
